All About Yogurt the Ogre |

The positively pdoinkian adventures of Yogurt the Ogre is a series of timeless tales of self-reflection and friendship led by a re-imagined ogre. We created these stories to help 4 to 6 year-olds learn to care about people and the world around us.
The Yogurt the Ogre series are more than great stories with fantastic characters: the beautiful artwork is reminiscent of timeless and whimsical classics creating a wonderfully inviting and playful environment.
pdoink is meticulous about each high-quality hardcover story we design and produce. Our intention is to create a great experience for parents to read with their children versus reading for their children. For example, the cover artwork, with its vibrant matte images, invites the reader into Yogurt's story. And as you look from cover to cover, it seems as though Yogurt is moving through the book from back to front.
We are parents and we understand bedtime: many of us strive for a schedule or regular bedtime, but sometimes we get the kids to bed later than we would like.
Every Yogurt the Ogre book has a 7 o'clock story and an 8 o'clock story. We know what young girls and boys like to read before they go to bed: Yogurt the Ogre! The Big Tale of the Not-So-Tidy Whale takes about ten minutes to read, allowing parents and children to take more time to explore and discover the treats each page has to offer such as the magical border artwork or all of the Mudd Hollow animals. It is the perfect 7 o'clock read.
And what does Yogurt like to read about when he goes to bed? Young boys and girls, of course! In each Yogurt the Ogre book is a poem that is a bedtime story for Yogurt, enhancing the reading experience for children and their parents. Plus, in a pinch at 8 o'clock, this can be a slightly faster story for parents to read with their children.
The Yogurt the Ogre series is full of great stories and artwork crafted for families to enjoy together, today and in the years to come.
